(57)【要約】 【目的】 本発明は、煩わしい調整作業が不要で常に原 稿に対して正常な走査を実現できる光学走査装置を提供 する。 【構成】 本発明は、原稿載置台の下側における走査方 向に沿って往復移動して原稿載置台上の原稿を光学的に 走査する走査手段を有する光学走査装置1において、走 査手段の走査方向に直交する方向の両端部の走査基準位 置をこの走査手段の両端部領域で個別に検出する複数の 検出手段と、複数の検出手段の検出結果に基づきこれら の検出結果に応じて走査手段の走査方向に直交する方向 の傾き検知する検知手段と、この検知手段により走査手 段の走査方向に直交する方向の傾きが検出されたときに 走査手段の両端部領域においてこの走査手段を独立して 駆動し走査手段の歪み補正を行う複数の駆動手段60と を設けた。この構成により、複数の検出手段及び複数の 駆動手段の動作で、煩わしい調整作業が不要で常に原稿 に対して正常な走査を実現できる。
PURPOSE:To obtain the optical scanning device which eliminates the need for troublesome adjusting operation and performs a normal scan of a document at all times. CONSTITUTION:The optical scanning device 1 which reciprocally moves along a scanning direction below an original platen to optically scan the document on the original is provided with plural detecting means 65a and 65b which detects the scanning reference positions of both the end parts of the scanning means in a direction of orthogonal intersection to the scanning direction individually in both end part ares of the scanning means detecting means, a which detects the tilt of the scanning means in a direction of orthogonal intersection to the scanning direction corresponding to the detected results on the basis of the detection results of the plural detecting means, and plural driving means 60 which make distortion correction of the scanning means by driving the scanning means independently in both the end part areas of the scanning means when the detecting means detects the tilt of the scanning means in a direction of orthogonal intersection to the scanning direction. Consequently, troublesome adjusting operation unnecessary and the document can be scanned normally at all times through the operation of the detecting means and driving means 60.
